Please do not discourage technical and/or theoretical discussions on  
this list! It's exactly what this list is for. It's a big help, to  
beginners, for people chime in and simplify these discussions. I think  
we can have both.

Michael Newberry does tend to toot Mira's horn but it's almost always  
in the context of a more general discussion that I think does apply to  
most other software. He's a real expert and we are lucky to have him  
sharing on this list.
