I've been following CSS 081231:071126+440405 for a few weeks and am always
amazed at how quickly the fully eclipsed hot spot reappears.

It's my understanding that the dip  preceding the eclipse is caused by
stream of inflowing material passing in front of the hot spot  on the
surface of the primary.  Does that sound right?
