We released volume 36 number 2 of the journal today.
This covers up through the November 2007 membership meeting.
Volume 37 number 1, due out in June, will cover the Spring
and Fall 2008 meetings, and from there on in, the abstracts
from the meeting roughly 8 months prior to the issue date
will be included.  You can submit papers at any time and
they will be immediately added to the current issue; there
is no link between meeting date, papers from that meeting,
and journal issue.  As with v36n1, the full pdf is available
to members behind Blue and Gold, and hardcopy issues are
available through createspace.com.

Also, as of this issue, Chuck Whitney is retiring as
Editor in Chief.  Chuck has been the Editor for more years
than I've been a professional astronomer, and has done
a marvelous job throughout his tenure.  We should all
give him a round of applause.

We are also happy to announce the new Editor in Chief:
Dr. John Percy.  Everyone knows John and his frequent
volunteer activities for the AAVSO, from Council member
and President, editor of the PEP newsletter, mentor
for the PEP program, work on HOA, etc. - his footprint
is everywhere in our organization.  I cannot think of a
person better suited to step in and carry the Journal
forward.
