I have now substituted the "b" star for the bad comp.

FYI, I am now using an ensemble of the f, j, g and b stars for the comps with the "h" star being the check star separate form the ensemble.

For me I see no reason to re-do the previous obs with the offending k star in as much as I have checked a lot of images and it appears to me to be pretty rock solid and in agreement with the original sequence value at least since I started observing this target on JD 15th right on through the last image I took last night (JD 19th).

However, as noted below the "k" star is variable and very much dimmer tonight (JD 20th).

If any one else has been using the "k" star and have found it to be variable please let us know....

Thank you,

Attention: HMXB participants

The "k" star which has been "stable" since at least the 15th ~ 12.35 just dimmed tonight ~ 14.34 with a sigma of .1. I do not have any color data yet... noticed on focus image and ran the photometry while TS is in process.
