Hello;
We after 2 days of "tuning", I now have the Tak Mount connected via Temma and Parallels & have the Optec TCF-S focuser connected.? The TCF is a little touchy with USB to Serial Converters.? Not all brands and chip types work.? There is also an issue with the type of 4 port extenders.? I have not completely worked thru this one yet.
The Pixis Camera has proved to be a challenge.? The guys at Princeton Instruments and at Parallels have been helpful, but we seem to be just one small step away.? Since I cannot connect to the camera, I have not been able to try the filter wheel yet.?
Still to come is the Sky6/Feranda Driver/Ascom5 connection to make, and the FocusMax operation via parallels.? Seems like it might be possible to do this.? Keep you posted.
Thanks

Subject: [Aavso-photometry] PT using a Mac and Parallels
Hello All?
?
I have been trying to use a Mac with Parallels to run XP and various PC
software (Maxim, Temma, Optec, and CWF-10 via Maxim) So far I have not
been successful connecting to the Camera (Princeton Instruments via
Maxim), however, today I was able to connect to the Tak Mount via
Temma. Still working on the rest. I will keep you posted.?
?
Thanks?
