Now's a great time for collecting the M67 photometry: M67 is on the
meridian in the early evening and the Moon is on the other side of
the world. I know the AAVSO wants more of us get up the
transform-learning-curve. Step one is to collect good images of M67,
the favorite calibration field. Next is the data reduction with the data here.
Still something missing from that page:
the reference works:
<http://binaries.boulder.swri.edu/binaries/fields/m67ids.txt>Arne's
UBVRcIc data for the numbered stars in the image
above => http://binaries.boulder.swri.edu/binaries/fields/m67ids.txt
but these references are broken :
<ftp://ftp.nofs.navy.mil/pub/outgoing/aah/m67/m67-data.txt>Arne's
full set of M-67 calibration data => ftp.nofs.navy etc
<ftp://ftp.nofs.navy.mil/pub/outgoing/aah/m67/m67paper.txt>Arne's
full writeup on the M67 experiment => ftp.nofs.navy
The M67 directory is missing from ftp://ftp.nofs.navy.mil/pub/outgoing/aah/
