The  best frequency to monitor is one near your longitude (same
sunrise/sunset) and  far  enough  away  to  eliminate  direct
reception.  For you in Houston I think that NAA in Culter, Main
(broadcasting  at 24.0 kHz, at a power of 1000 kW) would be the
