[Aavso-sid-list] VLF/SID monitoring

Hi,

I am interested in SID/VLF monitoring. So far, I've built myself 2' x
2'  50-turn loop antenna with #24 magnet
wire and some capacitance at the feedpoint to tune the antenna to
receive signals in the vicinity of 24khz. For the receiver, I am using
the computer sound card with the SpecLab software from DL4YHF.

Testing the setup one particular night, I got what looked like time
signals. Here is a screenshot from SpecLab:

Questions:
1. Is there a way to benchmark/test my setup specifically wrt SpecLab
including talking to a local mentor?
2. Any idea where these two time signals might be originating from?
One is at 22.6khz and the other is at 23.6khz.
3. What specifically should I record that can be analyzed with another
piece of software to spot SIDs?
