I do not believe that the sun rose early enough
for me to detect the eclipse via SID from near Washington, DC
Here is my SID data from a modified CAP type SID detector
from my location Lat 38.8453 and Lon -77.1157 detecting
the NAA Cutler Maine 24Khz transmitter. The morning dip in my
display is at 9:18UT:

I am not sure just when the eclipse SID should have occurred from
my location. If I click on Maine on
http://eclipse.gsfc.nasa.gov/SEgoogle/SEgoogle2001/SE2008Aug01Tgoogle2.html
I think it shows the ~45% maxima of the eclipse in Maine was about 8:45UT.
My nearest location for eclipse totality was probably in the Canadian
NW Territories.
I can provide more data if anyone thinks it is worthwhile.
My SID receiver samples at ~4 samples per second for GRB detection,
but my SID plot above has been smoothed by a 15 second filter.
The Moore Observatory in Brownsboro, Kentucky had an even
later sunrise than mine:
