[Aavso-sid-list] Publishable Research Project

Hello All!

Our local public observatory and its' research team just got some funding and some equipment.

Although we do have some long-term projects, we are looking for a project to undertake that could get us a publication in a peer-reviewed journal such as JAAVSO.

We are willing to undertake pretty much any project at this point, we are even open to collaboration.

We have the following scope/camera system:

A C14 with a hyperstar system and an SBIG ST10. The FOV is about 51 X 76 arcmin.

In addition we have radioastronomy expertise, which may be appropriate for the projects discussed in this group. We also have extensive computing facilities with both windows and Unix capabilities.

Anyone have any interesting ideas?
