[Aavso-sid-list] GRB 080319B

I am traveling so I have not been able to check my SID detector yet.
I think GRB 080319B was overhead from my VA location, but it was night so
the signal would have to be pretty strong to show up on the random night
SID background.

The Brownsboro, KY online SID observatory did not show any
obvious signal above the noise at 6:12UT

Digital data with 15 second resolution is available at

Here is a online movie of yesterday's strong GRB 080319B as detected by a
Polish automated optical ground observatory "Pi of the Sky" that tracks
the Swift GRB hunter satellite field of view:

According to this web page:

"Pi of the Sky" project is aimed at observation of a one forth sky for 9
hours a day by a computer controlled system of telescopes equipped with
cameras. The results will be analyzed by a computer. Thanks to use of
complex algorithms, originally created for the purposes of particle
physics, currently used also in astronomy, it will be possible to identify
optical transients - traces of cosmic disasters, which accompany formation
or disappearance of new objects in the sky. At the moment the observatory
Las Campanas in Chile is working on pilot installation of "Pi of the Sky".
So far, it has led to a discovery of WZ Sge-type dwarf nova."
