[Aavso-sid-list] Putting SID receiver on the grid

   Hello all,

I have successfully built and tested a version of Cap's SID
receiver and have captured good sunrise/sunset patterns. I'm
absolutely amazed that this whole adventure worked so well the first
time. That and being a throwing distance to Jim Creek helps a lot too.
Ok, I want to put this receiver on the grid and take it off battery
power. I have a 9v 300mA AC adapter that I bought from Radio Shack
last year. Should I just get another 9v adapter or get two 12v AC
adapters rated at 500mA? I have read that the 12v adapters would match
better with the TL082 OP Amp. The receiver works on two 9v batteries,
why not use the 9v adapters and save a little money?

   Cheers!

   Gary
