Telescope definition plate (image) scale

Well, old dogs must learn new tricks. So, I'm going to give VPHOT a go. When one defines their telescope to VPHOT does the "Plate Scale" (called "Image Scale" on the help page) assumed the scale given is for bin 1? and if the image is bin 2, VPHOT adjusts the scale?

I've run through the tutorials and VPHOT looks like a fabulous system! Well done!
