About the Star Finder

The Star Finder is a web tool that you can use to get direct access to some of our most popular and useful web applications.

• Plot a light curve - This will access our Light Curve Generator to create a generic plot of the data for the star that you enter
• Check recent observations - This will access our Quick Look View of Observations. It will show you all observations for the star that you enter from the last three months
• Create a finder chart - This will query the Variable Star Plotter to create a chart of the star name that you entered
• Search VSX - Searches the Variable Star Index for any available catologue information that is accessible for the star
