Ross 4—A Possible Recurrent Nova?
Samantha J. Brown
O. F. Mills Archival photographic data have been used to study the suspected variable Ross 4 = NSV 1436. The star is found generally to be fainter than 15th magnitude but occasionally becomes brighter than 13. The available data suggest the object is a cataclysmic variable, possibly of the recurrent nova type. |
