Background/Interesting Fact:
Retired high school math and science teacher who is currently doing volunteer work as a tutor, library helper, computer programmer, and AAVSO sequence team member. Became interested in astronomy during the Sputnik days, and joined the AAVSO in 1975. All of my variable star estimates are visual, made mostly by star-hopping with a 5 inch short tube refractor and a 10 inch Dobsonian.
