Problems with telescope setup

I am a researcher at Eastern Illinois University. We have a 16" Meade LX200GPS which I use to observe. The telescope setup instructs me to put in whatever is in the telescop type in my fits images. However, our fits images do not display a telescop type. In telescope setup, is this column merely used as a header, or does the information I put in that space need to be specific and written in a specific way. I put Meade 16" LX200GPS in the telescope column when I set up my telecope in vphoto, along with all the required specs. When I saved it, it never showed up in the My Telescope list. What am I doing wrong?
