Hello everyone,

Because I have been working alot with the literature references from the GCVS, the NSV and the NSV Supplement and came across the same reference many times, I decided to reorganise these files into one database and systematize them.
This integrated references file has kindly been put by Kirill Sokolovskii on the ftp site:

It includes the literature references from the GCVS (preceded by a G), the NSV (preceded by an N) and the NSV Supplement (preceded by an S). Furthermore I have systematized the notation and spelling in these files and removed the different ways of naming publications (like the 6 versions of the Crimean Observatory Izvestia).
>From this file it is obvious that this system has become very redundant. Some publications have 10 entries in this file. At least in this way it can be seen which are the different references for the same publication. It prevents the lookup of the same publication again.
I have used some simplifications: more than three author names was replaced by et al, because the purpose of this file is to find a publication, not to find an author. And all the no/nr/nrs/issue/facs/vol/heft indications were replaced by a simple N.
