I have done about a 1/2 dozen clinics at the Saskatchewan Summer Star the participants. Each year, one or two become varstar observers, (SQW) to name a few. The good thing about star parties is that they represent the most enthusiastic observers in any astro club, and you are there teaching something new usually under a pretty good sky. A greater percentage of star party attendees will likely take on observing programs, whereas a smaller percentage of astro club members will do so, since clubs have interests more diverse than observing alone. rick * * * * * * * * * * * * * Richard Huziak Manufacturing Engineering SED Systems Saskatoon, SK, Canada
