I'm a pretty good starhopper (hell, I've been doing it for nearly 50 years!) but 
I found when I started using a scope with DSCs last summer that I could estimate 
50% more variables in a given time period.  I'm sorely tempted to go over to the 
Dark Side and get a full goto scope!
