Date: Thu, 16 Mar 2006 19:35:27 -0500 From: Geoff Gaherty But a better reason why star are underobserved is that some people are > to 200 estimates a night, which means travelling into the realm of stars I'm a pretty good starhopper (hell, I've been doing it for nearly 50 years!) but I found when I started using a scope with DSCs last summer that I could estimate 50% more variables in a given time period. I'm sorely tempted to go over to the Dark Side and get a full goto scope!
