The monitoring of WW Cet with RXTE was originally scheduled to start in mid-May, but due 'hectic scheduling' of RXTE, it was delayed. We have been informed by Dr. Baskill that the RXTE observations will now start on Aug. 14 and will last 90 days. Dr. Baskill is requesting the assistance of AAVSO observers to monitor WW Cet closely and if possible simultaneously during his X-ray campaign so that the x-ray and the visual data may be correlated. For a more detailed description of the project, including information on recommended frequency of observations and RXTE observing timetables, please visit the AAVSO webpage that we are setting up for this campaign which will have links to Dr. Baskill's website with further information: http://www.aavso.org/wwcet.shtml ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- 0120+31 TY PISCIUM The dwarf nova type (SU UMA subclass) cataclysmic variable TY PSC appears to be in outburst, as indicated by the following observations: AAVSO Observer AAVSO Observer UT Mag.
