Itagati, Japan and R. Arbour, England. The object was discovered on unfiltered CCD frames taken by Itagati on March 21.51 UT (mag 14.4) and taken by Arbour on March 22.835 UT (mag 14.5.) The SN 2003CG is located 14" east and 5" north of the nucleus of NGC 3169. R.A. of NGC 3169 (2000): 10h 14m 15s.97 Decl. of NGC 3169 (2000): +03o 02.5' 14".4 (IAUC No. 8097) Please report this object to the AAVSO as: 1009+03B SN 2003CG For more information on this object, including an AAVSO 'f' scale chart showing the location of SN 2003B, please see AAVSO Alert Notice 300 which has been posted on the AAVSO web site: www.aavso.org Congratulations to K.
