His discovery was made during his visual search of the area using 14x100 binoculars. Visual confirmation was made by C. Vitorino (Portugal), D. Green (USA), and D. di Cicco (USA). A precise position of N Aql 99 No. 2 was reported by D. di Cicco as: R.A. = 19h 23m 05s.38 Decl.= +04 57' 20".1 (Equinox 2000.0) Observations obtained form IAU Circular 7323 and reported to the AAVSO include the following: UT MAG OBSERVER DEC 01.785 6.0 A.
