The AAVSO's involvement in these satellite observations has been written up in the "Chandra Chronicles" which can be found at: http://chandra.harvard.edu/chronicle/0300/aavso.html We sincerely thank all the observers who have been sending in observations in support of this observing run. The optical coverage has been quite impressive. Please continue to carefully observe SS Cyg throughout the current outburst so that we will have detailed coverage of the entire outburst to correlate with the satellite data.
