1601+67 AG Dra Outburst
AAVSO Newsflash Special Notice (October 9, 2003)
The symbiotic star 1601+67 AG Dra is undergoing an outburst, according to
observations submitted to the AAVSO. It does not appear to be a full-scale
outburst, the last of which occurred in 1991 when AG Dra reached visual
magnitude ~8.1, but another in a series of subsequent smaller outbursts,
the most recent of which occured in September 2002 when AG Dra reached
magnitude ~9.2. Recent observations reported to the AAVSO include:
