AAVSO on the Web
The AAVSO web site offers tons of useful information and tools for our members and observers as well as for anyone seeking to learn more about the AAVSO and variable stars. We are always working hard to update the site and add new items, including pictures, publications, and news. Here is a quick look at some of the highlights added to the web site since the last Newsletter: - Solar photo gallery - Images of the sun divided into categories: Whole Disk, Limb and Prominences, Sunspots, Flares

- Light Curve Generator - New look and observer info, upgraded to differentiate CCD info, now plots averages
- AAVSO Awards pages - Updated w/ 2001Annual and 2002 Spring recipients
- HOAFUN 2 - Windows based variable star tutorial and game for all ages
- PEP Newsletter - Nov. 2001 issue
- Search the JAAVSO - A subject index to the JAAVSO was placed online
- AAVSO History - Updated w/ “A Margaret Mayall Centenary Celebration!”
- Bulletin 65 - Predicted maxima and minima of Long Period Variables for 2002
- Ephemerides - 2002 EB and RR Lyrae Ephemerides online
- Quick Look Data - Now updated every 15 minutes
- Newsletter 27- January 2002
- Meetings - 2001Annual meeting archive with photo gallery and audio/visual of presentations and papers online, and 2002 Spring and Fall meeting archives with photo galleries and PowerPoint presentations online
- New Chart Database - New Chart Search Engine and Database
- Charts - New EB and RR Lyrae charts added, 239 new charts added (mainly faint CV) plus many others
- Site Search - New search program installed to facilitate site searches
