AAVSO Special Notice #107: Update on Request to monitor SDSS J151413.72+454911.9 for HST Observations

Further to AAVSO Alert Notice #376, we have been notified that Hubble Space
Telescope observations of the cataclysmic variable SDSS
J151413.72+454911.9 have been scheduled starting 2008 May 07, 20:34 UT
(JD 2454594.3569) through 2008 May 08, 13:50 UT (JD 2454595.0766). 
Observers are asked to observe this star nightly through 2008 May 06;
observe as frequently as possible during the 12-24 hours prior to the
observing window, and continue through the end of observtions.  Please
report all observations to the AAVSO as soon as possible using WebObs. 
In the unlikely event of an outburst, contact the AAVSO immediately.

Dr. Szkody also notes that the observing requirements requested by HST
have changed.  Visual observers are still asked to report the faintest
comparison star they are capable of reaching.  CCD observers are asked
to use longer integrations or stack images to reach at least V=17.0,
preferably using the V=17.023 comparison star (AUID 000-BFT-253; RA
15:13:57.02 , Dec +45:48:38.7). Direct detection of SDSS
J151413.72+454911.9 (V ~ 19.5) is not necessary, but please obtain a S/N
of at least 10 in the faintest comparison star you can reach in
reasonable time.


Please report all observations to the AAVSO as "SDSS J151413.72+454911.9".
