Hi,

is it possible to download the spectral data of KIC 8462852 that has been recorded so far as a private person? If so, where can i get it?

Clear skies,

Hi Gary,

While we wait for James to reply it is worth mentioning that the details of James's spectrum (and any other in the database)  can be found by interogating the BAA database here

https://britastro.org/specdb/

The spectra can also be downloaded from the database in fits format. The use of BeSS standard means that  all the relevant data on the  observation are also contained in the fits header.  Below is a printout of the header for James' spectrum. (I have truncated the observatory coordinates for privacy)

Cheers

Robin

One correction on the fits header...this was taken with a 33cm apeture classical cassegrain working at F/7.5 with LISA.   The usual header is accurate with the CDK17, but whenever I go to the "field" I use the 33cm classical cassegrain for spectroscopy.  I made a note of this in the BAA spectra database.
