Talks about the AAVSO and VSOing

Due to the New England winter storm currently affecting the area, phone coverage at the AAVSO may be much reduced until Wednesday. The staff is still available via email, and we suggest using that method to contact us if you need assistance.

This is a reminder: If you have given or will be giving talks or presentations about the AAVSO, variable stars, observing, and/or astronomy, please let me know so I may include them in "Talking about the AAVSO" in the upcoming July issue of the AAVSO Newsletter!

I need the date, ltalk title, location, type of audience, and any comments you want to make about it in an email by June 30 (this coming Monday).

I know many of you do outreach and public education - Don't be shy! Blow your own horn! Share with us what you are doing so we may thank you and learn from you!

Many thanks and good observing,

Elizabeth Waagen
