Are they correct?  I believe I have followed them to the letter but there are a few things different now.  One, the Python software versions have changed.  At the Anaconda site they have Python 3.7.  Also, there are two Python exe files one with the w and without.  When directing the shortcut to use the one with the w nothing happens?  I tried to be patient but it's been several minutes and nothing has happened.

Any thoughts?  I should add they do not have the suggested Python 3.6  Should I use instead the older 2.7 version?

Thanks,

Henry

Try Python 2.7

Henry:

There is a similar post in the forum somewhere. There is an issue with 3.7. If you don't want to fight with it, delete the current anaconda/python install and try 2.7.

That should work more readily using the tg...pyw file.

TG Installation

I am running a fully updated Windows 10 Version 1803.

I have installed TG in accordance with the instructions but when I try to run the program, I receive a message "This app can't run on your PC. To find a version for your PC check with the software publisher". When I first received this message, I uninstalled Python 3.7 and installed Python 2.7 but TG still would not run.

I should be grateful for any advice to get TG working.

In case anyone is wondering

In case anyone is wondering whether TG is now working for me, Gordon very kindly spent half an hour working on my PC via Skype and I now have full access to TG.

What splendid service.
