Background/Interesting Fact
Hi all! My name is Davide Iannone. I am fond of astronomy for many years, in particular I have great interest about periodic variable stars. I have a degree in physics and although my field of study is theoretical, astronomy is the most natural way to explore experimental science without having major equipment, or high-tech devices as with nuclear physics or elementary particles physics. So, it is with great interest in the field of variable stars that I feel I can really complete my scientific training, balancing experimental side and pure mathematical side of my work.
