Was interested in astronomy as a youth. Was introduced to AAVSO by Karl Wells a long time member and
mentor. Submitted observations of a few variables, but SS Cygnus was and is my focus. Karl has long since passed, though older and more experienced he was a dear friend and encourage my interest.
