Otero, Sebastian Alberto

ASAS-3 mag. at peak is saturated. Mag. has been corrected using c Pup (V= 3.60) as a comp star and data for one day earlier and one day after the nova peak. Magnitude difference between apertures (a sign of saturation) is consistent between both dates and also between the nova and the comp star indicating the new maximum magnitude is okay at the 0.1 mag. level.
Comp star saturated mag. 4.16 (0.05) --> 3.60V
Nova saturated mag. 4.12 --> 3.56V. |
