1 Huziak, Richard The "Original Reference" (S.Gaposchkin, HA 118, N26, 1952) for U Lac cited in VSX (and thus in the GCVS) is incorrect for U Lac, and no reference to U Lac is seen in that publication. T. W. Backhouse states in "Astronomische Nachrichten" (1902AN....158..383K) that the star AN 2.1902 (now U Lac) was announced in "The Observatory for Jul 1897 p.278" and was discovered by him as variable, and that the star was first listed in Espin's revision of "Birmingham's Catalogue of Red Stars" as #735.
2 GCVS Team There are light variations with the periods: 150d, 550 - 690d, 2900d.
