Hi All

I hope all of you are staying healthy.

I've been counting sunspots for about a little over a year now and was recently asked, a very good question, "why did I start observing sun spots in the middle of a solar minimum."

For me the anwser was simple, being newly retired I was able to commit more time to observing, and it just happened to be at a solar minimum.  But it did bring up a good question, in my mind, regarding if there is any value in reporting an observation of Wolf = 0?

Thanks for any inputs.

Regards

zero spots

Data is data, even if it's zero.  That's science.  If people didn't observe and log their observing results during the minimum we wouldn't know it existed.
