WZ Sge-Type Dwarf Novae

Hi all,

Very interesting new paper about our UGWZ stars! Though I'm missing some rare ones like PQ And and XY Psc. Have they been forgotten?

Regards,

Eddy

Thanks, Eddie. Got it.
XY Psc is given as UG: in VSX. Is it proven to be a UGWZ? If so, do you have a refrence?

No Stephen it's not proven but it looks like it is a UGWZ. Look at :

One of the criteria used by Taichi Kato in his paper is:
"the presence of early superhumps (reflecting the 2:1 resonance) and long or multiple rebrightenings are the best distinguishing properties of WZ Sge-type dwarf novae."
I suspect the reason for not including this star is that such early superhaumps have not been detected (yet)
We must continue to observe (when weather permits!!!!!!)
Kind regards
Stephen [HSP]
