Abstract

(Abstract only) Using Newton's Laws, and analysis of the equation of time (apparent-mean) for various orbit eccentricities and inclinations of planet rotation planes to the plane of the planet's rotation are discussed. It is shown that the projection of the orbit along the rotation axis of the planet onto the planet's rotation is an ellipse. Also, the projected radius vector of the planet sweeps equal areas in equal times.
