Abstract

FG Sagittae is a peculiar variable star surrounded by a planetary nebula. The star has undergone a steady increase in brightness over the past 80 years. Recently, the spectrum was discovered to be changing, as well. There is a suggestion the FG Sge could be in the process of releasing another nebulous shell.
