Abstract
Here, I shall comment only on some of the highlights of Janet’s contributions to education and outreach. These were as varied as the many parts of the “astronomical education community,” and the many facets of the AAVSO. They were, of course, aided by Janet’s team at Headquarters but, given her participatory management style and her passion for education, her stamp was on every one.
