Hi everyone,

Someone posted a request data for capturing a ToM for a variable within the past week.  It was one that has not had a measurement since 1933 or so.  Can anyone tell me what that variable was?  I believe the start of the eclipse happens tonight.  I can't find it anywhere on the forums for some reason.

Thanks,

ToM Request for TU LYN

Thanks, Lew!  I did evenutally manage to find in in the forum but it took me much longer than I was hoping..

I've started time series on TU LYN and so far it's holding steady at mag. 10.5V.  I'm using TYC 04096-01385 as a comp star but it's pretty red along with all the other Tycho stars in the area.  I should be able to run on this star for a few hours before it drops into the trees.

I'll post my results at the end of my run or possibly sooner if I see it start to drop.

Clear Skies,

Thanks for observing TU Lyn

Thanks Vance. My prediction of eclipse of TU Lyn on 17 April 2016 has several hours uncertainty. It is very possible, that the begin of eclipse takes place a little later than my calculation. My posting to "request to observe TU Lyn" you can find at: https://www.aavso.org/request-observe-eclipsing-variable-tu-lyn

Thank you for your contribution to observing V610 Cyg last year!
