Dr. Padi Boyd

Biography:

Over twenty five years of experience at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, applying traditional and novel time series and spectral analysis techniques, using data from a variety of space telescopes, including the Hubble Space Telescope, International Ultraviolet Explorer,Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer (RXTE), Swift, Kepler, K2, and TESS while simultaneously being an effective manager and team leader of science teams, guest observer facilities, software development efforts, and student and postdoctoral programs. Research interests span the gamut from detecting planets around other stars, astrodynamics, and accretion onto compact objects of stellar mass, to supermassive black holes in active galaxies.
