Over the next few months we will post a number of quick tips pointing out some new features/changes with the new web site.
The first tip is about seeing who your fellow users are. Clicking on the URL below will give you a list of all registered users on the site:
You can sort that list by name, state, country or affiliation by clicking on the blue field name at the top of each field. Click it twice to change the sort order from ascending to descending. If you want to contact a user, click the "contact" button and you can send an e-mail to them. This is a way to communicate between users while also preserving privacy.
You can get to your personal profile page by clicking on "My Account". Edit that page to add some background to your astronomical interests and make a link to your personal web site (or site of your club, etc.).
So take some time to update your profile, surf around the list, get in touch with old friends and see what the community is all about!
