The AAVSO has monitored XZ Cyg closely for 38 years amassing a large volume of data on this star in the AAVSO International Database. These data result in 613 maxima timings which are analyzed in this document. In Figure 1 on page 1 we have shown the entire 38-year O-C curve plotted relative to the light elements given in Kholopov et al. (1985). These elements are listed as equation 1. JD(max) = 2444124.440 + 0.46670 E (1) Close examination of these data have enabled us to identify seven eras, each some few years in length, when a distinct period seemed to be in effect. The transition from one period to the next appears to be rather sudden, with one exception. From JD 2443740 to JD 2444050 it seems evident that the transition was a more gradual process. The approximate beginning and ending dates for each era of constant period are listed here accompanied by the equation which best matches the occurrence of maxima during that era. These are listed as equations 2 through 8. These individual eras are bracketed on the O-C curve shown in Figure 1 on page 1 and identified with the corresponding equation number.
