Hi everyone,
I have a doubt concerning a variable star that I am following. I tried to overlay my data with those of ASAS-SN, but the graph I got shows a strangeness. What happens is that part of the ASAS-SN data has dropped in brightness by about 0.6 magnitudes. Looking at the non-phasing light curve it seems that this decline is present starting from the observations of 2458200 HJD. I would like to know your opinion on this. In particular I would like to understand if it is an error in the acquisition of data or what kind of phenomenon could cause this strange curve in the data of the star.

ASAS-SN now have telescopes that use g-filter. Originally they only used V-filter. When you download data from ASAS-SN there is a column that says which filter is used for each observation so you can sort them out.
You're right, Thomas. I had not noticed that there are shots in different bands that unfortunately Vstar does not separate. I will try the way to filter only the V-band images.
You could use a selection filter in the Observation list tab.
