VSX Submissions - file type and size constraints

What are the accepted file types for supporting information on a VSX submission?  What is the maximum files size?

thanks

Supporting files

Hello Cliff,

Supporting documentation is always meant to be an image file (it can be jpg, gif, png or others). Most of the time it will be a phase plot (for all variables with a given period), a JD plot (for irregular variables or to show mean magnitude or amplitude changes in periodic variables) or a finding chart if needed (crowded areas, faint objects, but not usually necessary).

Since these files are usually small, we haven't got problems with image size so to be honest I don't remember exactly what the size limit was, but I think it was 1 mb.

I am going to review your submission now.

Cheers,
Sebastian
