APASS dB Search Returns No Stars

The membership database is currently undergoing upgrading/testing. Web functions that involve an interface with the member database (webobs, etc.) may experience intermittent problems. We hope to have this issue resolved within 24 hours (by 5pm Eastern Time on October 1st or 12:00 UT). Thank you for your patience.

APASS is not returning any stars in a search around 16:54:43.74 -19:16:31.1 radius = 0.12 (degrees).

It may not be possible to draw this conclusion from the DR6 coverage map, but there appear to be stars at those coords. Am I missing something here?  The white areas on the map lack coverage, correct?

Hi Michael,

You are correct - white areas indicate no coverage.  However, the resolution of that projection is pretty poor, and there will be small areas with no coverage - perhaps mispointing of the mount, or non-coaliagnment of the telescopes, etc.  DR7 will fill in most of the gaps and should be out shortly.
