Observations of V694 Mon are scheduled for 11 March 2020 with HST, and for 22 March 2020 with XMM. Please continue to observe as indicated below but with the high-intensity coverage taking place March 9 through March 14 and March 19 through March 25.  -  Elizabeth O. Waagen, 6 March 2020

Updated May 24, 2019: Dr. Paula Szkody informs us that the exact time for the HST observation of V386 Ser has been scheduled for 2019 May 30 04:36-10:15 UT. This is the night of May 29/30 for US observers. Thus, the critical night will be May 28/29 (Wednesday night)  to get a measurement to HST so they can proceed to the observation. It will be essential to have positive observations from this night to satisfy the HST planners, so observers with suitable equipment are urged to obtain positive measurements of this faint star.

September 27, 2018: Dr. Ed Sion (Villanova University) requests AAVSO observers' assistance in monitoring the recurrent nova T Pyx, beginning immediately, in support of upcoming HST observations.

The HST COS observations have been scheduled to take place during the window of 2018 October 4 - 6. It is essential to know the status of T Pyx in order for the HST team to safeguard the instrumentation and make a final decision about approving the COS observations.

March 29, 2018: Further to AAVSO Alert Notice 618, Anna Pala (Ph.D. candidate, University of Warwick) informs us that the date and time of the HST observations planned for the faint polar cataclysmic variable SDSS J153817.35+512338.0 have been set for

March 5, 2018: Anna Pala (Ph.D. candidate, University of Warwick) has requested AAVSO observers' assistance in monitoring the faint polar cataclysmic variable SDSS J153817.35+512338.0 in support of Hubble Space Telescope observations scheduled for late March-early April 2018.

The HST observing window is 2018 March 28 - April 9. Once the exact time of the HST observations is known, it will be announced on the AAVSO discussion forum thread for this campaign given below.

October 31, 2017: Further to AAVSO Alert Notice 603, your positive observations of CI Aql, which will be used to determine whether the HST observation of CI Aql will take place, must be submitted to the AAVSO International Database by 14:45 UT (10:45 am EDT) on Wednesday, 2017 November 1. Without these positive ground-based observations reported by this time (and showing CI Aql not in outburst), the HST observation will not take place.

October 27, 2017 : Further to AAVSO Alert Notice 599, Dr. Edward Sion (Villanova University) informs us that the HST COS observation of the recurrent nova CI Aql has been scheduled for November 2, 2017.
