Dear AAVSO and Citizen Sky Members,

I am now a distributor of the "Mystery in the Sky" DVD that was filmed for the Epsilon Aurigae program and Citizen Sky. It is an hour long professionally made DVD filmed at Adler Planetarium in Chicago. Several AAVSO members and Citizen Sky members are a major part of this DVD. It is a wonderful DVD that covers the history of the Citizen Sky project and the Epsilon Aurigae campaign. For those interested in Epsilon Aurigae, or want  to have a copy of this for posterity sake, it shows a great piece of history of AAVSO. I can also tell you, from the perspective of a veteran science teacher, it is a great educational tool. Any educators who read this might want a copy for your classroom.

A photo of the DVD is attached. They will be sent directly from me to you US Mail media rate.

If you would like to purchase a copy, the cost is $12.00 plus $3.00 shipping. You can make a check out to "Christopher Stephan" and mail it to me at:

Dear Chris:   I would like to know. Since I am passionately curious  as to the reason for the Sea Gull which is perched on the head of Copernicus on the back cover.  This Sea Gull seems to appear now and then in the DVD.  Since, I am not being critical about this Sea Gull. I assume that it has some significance in the DVD.   I assume that this is artistic license.  Best  HNL

Folks,

Concerning my post about Mystery in the Sky, please DO NOT use PayPal. I have run into trouble with them and cancelled my account. I am having to have my bank make up a whole new checking account for me. Very troubling experience.

Please send me a check or money order for the dvd. Sorry for the inconvenience.
