Background/Interesting Fact
- been observing variables since 1976, inspired by Burnham's Celestial Handbook varstar charts
- did visual variables for the first 20 years
- now do mostly CCD work on suspected variables and semi-regular stars
- my picture was taken in 1999 with my 10" scope, Blue Bertha, and my Chant medal. My hair was brown then; "silver fox" would be a better description now. I might also be a bit wider, too :-)
