AAVSO 2019 Annual Meeting - October 18-20
I am happy to announce that hotel registration for the 2019 AAVSO Annual Meeting is open. The entire meeting will be held at the Hotel Encanto in Las Cruces, NM. We have secured a reduced rate of $109.00/night for a block of rooms. The hotel has extended our group rate to cover the nights of October 13 - 23 so plan on enjoying the area during your trip and our special tour of the Apache Point Observatory on October 20th.
The Las Cruces Shuttle is a local service that runs from the El Paso Airport to the hotel. You need to make advance reservations with them by telephone - Toll Free: 1.800.288.1784. It is about a 45 minute drive from the El Paso, TX airport to the hotel.
As with last year I encourage you to book now. RRL/Cep 2019: Frontiers of Classical Pulsators - Theory and Observations are meeting in this area October 13-18 and we anticipate some additional meeting registrations from this group.
